PV is Science and activities related to monitoring , detection , assessment and prevention of Adverse drug events.

Steps to get a job in PV as a Fresher –

1. Eligibility –
First you should be eligible for this job , The qualification you need is B Pharm, M Pharm , Bsc , Msc , Pharma D students Life Science , Medical science and Pharma graduates.

2. PV knowledge –
– You must know what PV is then the job description , What are the roles and responsibilities of the PV also various information related to the department working in PV.
e.g MICC (Medical information contact center )
Case Processing (ICSR Individual case study report dept)
Aggregate reporting
Signal detection

3. Getting required skills –
Writing skills
Good communication skills
Listening skills
Presentation skills

4. Create your profile in all job providing sites –
You have to create your profile in all job portals where the company is looking for the candidates to apply for jobs and get a chance of an interview .
e.g Naukri , Indeed , Linked in

5. Actively present in all job sites –
Be updated on all job portals daily so you will not miss a single vacancy when posted and also be updated yourself and your profile of online job portals any additional information edit it in your profile.
Add the tags related to your job search like Pharmacovigilance , Drug safety associate etc.

6. Resume Buildup –
Update your resume , In the resume you should add some information related to the job description because it should match the keywords to pass through ATS which is used by every organization to scan the resume and if it passes the ATS then your resume is shortlisted.

7. Networking (Ask for referral) –
If you have a connection to the company or employer, it could be worth getting in touch. Depending on how well you know them, you could use that person as an informal referee, or ask if they can offer any insight on the role. Try checking your social and professional network for connections to see if you have any mutual contacts.

8. Share resumes in career portals –
Share your resumes to the career portal to the various organizations who are providing jobs in Pharmacovigilance as a fresher.
